It's first day of April and already 75F with good dose of sun. Needed energy boost post work out. What can be better than coconut water and lime.
Ginger and Basil kiss themselves to make a tonic and my smoothie outcome was a pure nourishment.
2 small organic Fuji apple chunks (with skin)
Juice of 3/4th lime
1/2 inch ginger
3/4 cup organic coconut water
1/2 cup cold water
1 tsp local honey
4-5 torn basil
Juice the apple and ginger with coconut water. Add the juice of lime, honey and water to blend again. Pulse with the basil. Ice cubes can be added for a colder refreshment. Serve fresh.
