July 4th weekend brings in a lot of tasty peaches in the market. Am in smoothie heaven with peaches and plums. I used organic coconut water in the smoothie to beat the heat today. This summer Smoothie was healthy and loaded with antioxidants, plus vital nutrients provided by coconut water.
2 navel oranges peeled
2 medium organic peaches pitted
2 red plums pitted
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup organic coconut water
1 cup cold water or few ice cubes
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until the fruits are smoothied.
Adjust the smoothie thickness as per your preference. Add more coconut water to dilute the smoothie.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
