Avocado -Berry and Orange Blast



Had an early morning dental procedure,which didn't give me enough time to eat breakfast. And after the procedure, had to deal with the anesthesia effects which meant no solid foods till late afternoon.

My only option was oatmeal porridge or smoothie and I chose the latter to get protein(almond milk) , Vitamins( berries, oranges)and energy boost(chia) with good fat and  fiber (avocado)


1 tbsp chia seeds soaked for 10 mins
3 small cutie oranges peeled
1/2 cup almond milk
3/4 cup mixed berries ( I used blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
1/2 avocado pulp
1/4 cup ice cubes optional

Blend together all the ingredients to a smoothie.  Add ice cubes if needed.
You can make the smoothie thick or semi thick, add water to dilute.
